I had the privilege of presenting a certificate on behalf of the Department of Human Services, through the Community Development Program, to the Port Augusta Youth Centre. This certificate represents a grant of $29,107, which will go toward staffing and equipment for the Pt Augusta Errappa Reconnection Program.

This vital initiative supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people (aged 10-18yrs) in Port Augusta, Whyalla and surrounding areas.

I am pictured with Manager David Hickman, who, along with their dedicated team, work's tirelessly to create a safe and supportive space for young people in our community.

Programs like these make a real difference, and I am proud to see this funding going to such an important cause.
