Youngcare’s Y Kids Grant is critical in keeping children at home with their families. Y Kids assists children
(aged 0 – 17) with high physical care needs, and their families who are living at home and have significant
gaps in their NDIS Plans.

The program provides one-off grants of between $2,000 and $10,000 for the provision of essential support
items that are unable to be funded through other means, such as the NDIS.

By providing funding for equipment, home modifications, emergency respite care and travel costs associated
with essential medical treatment, Y Kids aims to enhance the standard of living for children with high care
needs and their carers.
