WOOLWORTHS JUNIOR LANDCARE GRANT

Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant projects focus on sustainable food production, improving waste management practices or enhancing native habitats such as vegetable gardens, recycling initiatives and native habitat enhancement and indigenous perspectives.

Applications are now open for Australian primary schools and early learning centres to apply for a Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant. With up to 1,000 grants on offer, this is the largest number of Junior Landcare Grants ever given out in a single round.

These grants, of up to $1,000 each, inspire kids from across the country to get hands-on with projects that focus on sustainable food production, improving waste management practices or enhancing native habitats.

In 2018 and 2019, a total of 1,155 primary schools and early education centres across Australia received Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants, with more than 100,000 students getting hands-on caring for the environment.

Applications close 19 March 2021
