The Rural Youth Bursary, scholarship is for young people employed in a employed in a rural capacity looking to grow their career through additional study.
The grant is open to all South Australians between the ages of 18 – 30 who wish to pursue additional study, undertake a study tour or develop a special project that will have a positive impact on regional and rural communities.
The award is offered by the Agricultural Bureau of South Australia, a not-for-profit organisation run by farmers for farmers.
PIRSA is supporting the program by providing the $5,000 grant to the successful recipient, upholding its commitment to growing primary industries and driving regional development.
The successful recipient must demonstrate competency in their study, career and interpersonal skills and how this project will benefit their rural community.
