Bite-Size Grants

The Northern and Yorke NRM Board’s Grants program provides funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations to enable them to undertake projects that deliver positive environmental outcomes across the Northern and Yorke NRM Region.

A portion of the Community Grants budget has been allocated to the Bite-Size Grants program, to provide support for small, short-term projects ranging from $200 – $1000. This program is funded through the Northern and Yorke Natural Resources Management Board and particular NRM priorities must be met. Project funds must be acquitted and a completion report submitted within 3 months of receiving the grant money.

These grants are designed to increase awareness and positive action for groups in NRM and sustainability in project areas such as garden development, weed control, revegetation etc. Potential projects may fund training events, purchase of resources, contracting services or development of educational materials.
