If you are a South Australian sheep and cattle producer, you could be eligible to access a State Government rebate of up to $10,000 to help you embrace AgTech on-farm, and enable the use of data-based decision making to help grow business profitability and productivity.
The Livestock AgTech Adoption Rebate is part of the $7.5 million Red Meat and Wool Growth Program and is designed to encourage livestock producers to invest in new technology and obtain the necessary training and support to implement it successfully.
Eligibility for the rebate
The rebate is available to sheep, cattle and wool producers and to be eligible, producers need to:
- attend a one-day Livestock Enterprise Planning session and one-on-one coaching
- complete a Farm AgTech Adoption Plan (developed as part of the planning session).
A rebate of up to $10,000 can be used to implement high priority actions in your Farm AgTech Adoption Plan. This may include costs associated with training, consultancy and/or advisory services and precision livestock management technology.
