The Young Carer Bursary helps young carers under the age of 25 who are currently studying or training or will be in 2023. The program offers 1,000 bursaries to the value of $3,000, providing young carers with the necessary financial assistance to help them to achieve their education and training goals.
Young carers across Australia can apply from July until mid-September. To apply you must be

• aged 12 – 25 years old for the entire time you’re receiving the bursary
• studying an approved course in Australia within a recognised Australian institution, either full-time or part-time
• a permanent resident or Australian citizen residing in Australia
• not receiving another scholarship.

Applications for the Young Carer Bursary Program are open until 5pm 13 September 2022.
