The Regional Growth Fund has been established to:

• Unlock new economic activity in our regions
• Deliver critical economic infrastructure to create direct benefit across regional industries
• Strengthen regional communities.

Up to $5 million for the Regional Growth Fund Competitive Grants is now available.

The assessment of applications will take into consideration the number of jobs created by the project (construction jobs and ongoing jobs) and in particular the number of ongoing local employment positions generated. Further, a commitment to upskilling the existing regional workforce to meet employment requirements will be considered favourably.
