South Australian Youth Week (SAYW) will be held from 17 – 26 April 2020 to celebrate and recognise the value that young South Australians bring to our communities.

Participate and Celebrate

As one of the largest annual events on the South Australian youth calendar, SAYW 2020 encourages young people to participate in their communities and encourages communities to celebrate the achievements of young South Australians.

This year’s grants program focuses on support for regional activity. This is in response to consultation with young South Australians in the development of the SA Youth Action Plan who wanted to invest more in youth living in regional South Australia.

Get involved

One-off grants of up to $1,500 are available for organisations hosting events during SAYW 2020 held in regional and rural/remote South Australia.

The State Government, through the Department of Human Services, is providing SAYW grants for local councils, State Government agencies, and non-government organisations working directly with young people. Grants will be for events and activities in SAYW 2020 regional areas to host events and activities that promote, acknowledge and recognise the contributions of young people in our communities.
