Grant applications should be to the value of up to $10,000 for up to two years (if applicable).
Projects that collaborate between rural services and LGBTQIA+ agencies or groups are encouraged. Where an LGBTQIA+-led group is partnering with another organisation, PFA encourages equal partnership and co-design.
Projects should aim to support sexuality, sex and gender diverse (LGBTQIA+) people who are living in regional and rural areas in at least one of the following areas:
- Improving LGBTQIA+ inclusive practice in services, particularly relating to mental health, suicide prevention, housing, or family violence
- Improving access to inclusive health, legal, social and other services
- Enhancing support for community connection and reducing social isolation.
