Office for Ageing Well provides a range of Community Grants to fund initiatives that reflect the South Australian Government’s commitment to supporting South Australians to age well. In 2019 – 20 organisations seeking funding should be working together with older people, including those from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Projects and activities should contribute to building and maintaining inclusive communities focused on ageing well.

Grants for Seniors:

• Grants of up to $5,000 to purchase goods that stimulate activity and social engagement for older people.
• Grants of up to $10,000 for projects encouraging older South Australians to engage with the community.

Positive Ageing Fellowship Grants:

• One-off community capacity building rants of $20,000 – $40,000 for projects that support a diverse range of older South Australians to age well and be recognised for their valued contributions across their lifetime.

Age Friendly SA Grants:

• One-off grants of up to $25,000 for local governments. Regional partnerships of 3 or more local governments may be eligible for up to $45,000. Projects must align to the Age Friendly SA Strategy key priorities.
