South Australian Council Rebate Scheme

The State Government has announced an extended Drought Support Program which includes the South Australian Council Rebate Scheme. This scheme offers a 50% rebate (or maximum $7500) on council rates to eligible applicants.

The rebate is available to eligible South Australian drought affected primary producers who have been approved for Farm Household Allowance

Eligible applicants can apply to Primary Industries & Resources South Australia (PIRSA) for the rebate for each of the 2019/20 and 2020/21 financial years and must provide evidence that council rates have been paid (either for the quarter or for the entire financial year).
