ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATION FUND

Ex-service organisations, community groups, schools and local councils can now apply for funding to deliver activities that honour those who have served in any conflict Australia has been involved in as part of the 2023/2024 Anzac Day Commemoration Fund.

Applications are encouraged from groups across South Australia that seek to deliver a project or program that honours service or educates the community about the significance of Australia’s entire military history.

A total of 17 ex-service organisations and community groups from regional and metropolitan South Australia secured funding through the 2022-23 grant round.

This included projects ranging from the establishment of art therapy facilities, support for a dedicated Anzac Day commemorative service and football match and commemorative services to appropriately acknowledge significant anniversaries for the Korean War and Vietnam War.

The Anzac Day Commemoration Fund was established in 2008 and is administered by Veterans SA.

Up to $100,000 is available for the 2023/24 round, with applications closing on Tuesday 31 October 2023.
