SafeWork SA is offering grants of up to $25,000 to drive health and safety initiatives for women or young people.
Since the Augusta Zadow Awards launched in 2005, SafeWork SA has awarded 35 grants to fund safety initiatives benefiting businesses, workers and the community valued ar more than $350, 000.
The awards recognise the work of South Australia’s first female inspector of factories, Augusta Zadow, who fought for the work health and safety rights of women and young workers.
Past recipients have developed unique projects across a diverse range of South Australian industries.
