2021 Regional Telecommunications Review – South Australia Virtual Public Consultations

Good morning

We would like to remind you of upcoming consultation in South Australia regarding telecommunications.

The 2021 Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee is holding virtual public consultations on telecommunications in South Australia on Thursday 5 August, as part of the 2021 Regional Telecommunications Review. This is a great opportunity for local residents, businesses and community organisations to have their say on the telecommunications opportunities and issues in the region.

The virtual consultation will take place via Microsoft Teams, with dial-in options available for those on landline and mobile services.

The Review Committee would be grateful if you could please share the attached invitation to any interested parties in your networks. We also encourage you to spread the word via your social media channels or newsletters. A tweet on the event can be found here.

Due to the changing cross-border travel restrictions, the Review Committee is unable to hold in-person events at this time, but is looking to schedule future consultations in regional South Australia at a later stage of the Review.

The Review Committee also invites interested parties to make a submission in response to its Issues Paper. Submissions will be accepted until 30 September 2021 via the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications’ Have Your Say page or by email to [email protected].
