Students are encouraged to create an artwork that celebrates the theme ‘Let’s send less to landfill’.

The winning students will see their artwork moving throughout our community, displayed on the side of a local kerbside collection vehicle.

The competition is open for students from kindergarten to Year 12 and entries will be judged in three separate age categories.

The artwork should show the importance of recycling properly as well as the environmental benefits of recycling. Students are prompted to consider what goes in the recycling ‘yellow lid’ bin and how simple it can be to remember to always recycle correctly.
