The Department of Health and Aged Care, Multicultural Aged Care, and Country Outback Health – Care Finder will be hosting a Community Consultation: Let’s talk about Aged Care, for the CALD communities of Port Pirie on Tuesday 18 February 2025.

The following are the Key themes (but certainly not limited to):

–              Navigation and Access of the Aged Care System

–              Update / overview of New Aged Care Act & Reforms

–              Collect and collate feedback from consumers of the Aged Care System (i.e. what works, what doesn’t, what we should keep / stop / start)

They will talk participants through the range of aged care services, the assessment process and finding services that meet their needs. We are also keen to hear their stories and experiences with aged care.

Part of the discussions will be the recent reforms in aged care and what quality care services look like.
