Lions Club of Clare bring life to Second Hand Furniture

Opening of a new Second Hand Furniture shop is thanks to the Lions Club of Clare, after 12 months of work to bring this project to a reality.  Community support from local businesses and funds from a grant assisted in completing the project. Geoff attended the opening and congratulated them on this new venture.

The shop located on Harriet Street aims to address a need for the community, since the closure of other outlets that provided this service.   The key roles of the shop is to help the disadvantaged purchase furniture at an affordable price and act as a fundraising outlet for Lions to continue to deliver projects to the community.  The Lions Club are open to donations of furniture.
