You are encouraged to view a new web-based resource that tells the story of migration to South Australia from the post-war era onwards. South Australia’s Multicultural Story features a series of interactive charts and maps showing the changing patterns of migration in South Australia.
A long history of migration to South Australia has shaped the size and composition of its population, which comprises people from approximately 200 birthplace groups, who speak approximately 180 languages at home and observe more than 95 religions. This is a collaboration between Multicultural Affairs Department and the Hugo Centre for Migration and Population Research at the University of Adelaide.
