Nominations are now open for the 2024 Australia Day Awards……

Nominations are invited for the following Awards:

• Port Augusta Australia Day Citizen of the Year
• Port Augusta Australia Day Young Citizen of the Year
• Port Augusta Community Event of the Year
• Award for Active Citizenship
• Environmental Sustainability Award

Awards are presented by the Mayor at the Australia Day Celebrations (Breakfast) held on 26 January.

If you know of anyone who is a worthy recipient or are aware of a great community event that you have attended in the last year, please complete a nomination form.

Nomination forms including guidelines are available from the Council Office, 4 Mackay Street, Port Augusta, attached or at the website link below.

Forms are to be lodged with the Executive Assistant, in a sealed envelope marked CONFIDENTIAL, by 5pm on Friday, 15 December 2023.
