Each year on Volunteers day the Department of Human Services hosts a thank you event for volunteer. This event recognises and celebrates the many and varied ways that south Australia’s 900,000+ volunteers dedicate their time to helping others and giving back the their community .

This year the free thank you event for volunteers will be held at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Monday 14 June, and all volunteers are welcome to attend. The event will include the presentation of the South Australian Volunteer Awards, and will also feature highlights from the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
