JOBEX: SA’s largest job expo
Jobs in emerging industries will be the focus of South Australia’s biggest employment exhibition – JOBEX – which is being held in Adelaide, Port Augusta and Murray Bridge in November.
The State Government has partnered with employers including Santos, BAE Systems, Fleet Space Technologies and leading tertiary institutions to host the event, which is expected to be attended by thousands of job seekers, graduates and students.
Employers will showcase career pathways and job opportunities in five growing sectors: defence and ship building, health and research, IT and hi-tech, energy and mining, and tourism, food and wine.
Regional expos will be held in Port Augusta and Murray Bridge, linking South Australians living in the regions with industry leaders and job opportunities in growth industries.
South Australians interested in attending are encouraged to register at www.JOBEX.sa.gov.au.
JOBEX will be held in:
Adelaide: 10 and 11 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre
Port Augusta: 20 November at Central Oval
Murray Bridge: 23 November at Unity College.
JOBEX supports other State Government initiatives aimed at creating South Australian jobs including the $200 million Future Jobs Fund, the expanded Job Accelerator Grant and cutting payroll tax for small businesses.
Entry to the expo and speaker sessions is free but people need to register at www.JOBEX.sa.gov.au.
